Incontri SENSazionALI (sensational encounters) #3 – The time of the art – with Pietro Gaglianò

On the occasion of Pietro Gaglianò’s residence on May 14, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, we will hold the third round of the Incontri SENSazionALI (sensational encounter), entitled “the time of art”.

The Incontri SENSazionALI are informal meetings, curated by SuperOtium (Nicola Ciancio and Vincenzo Falcione) with the artist duo Bianco-Valente (Giovanna Bianco and Pino Valente), who, inspired by the ancient Neapolitan craft of the Sensale, have the aim to bring together professionals of art, culture and creativity to stimulate a free exchange, new relations and possible collaborations.

For this third appointment we will be discussing about the relationship between time and art, the theme of the new book by Gaglianò. To enhance the practice of Gaglianò who experiments with laboratory methods and training to re-invent the model of exhibition and conference, and the permeability of time in art, this appointment will take the form of an open round table.

From 4.00 to 7.00 pm it will be possible to actively participate in the exchange guided by 5 questions / themes defined by the curators that will be addressed together with all those present. At 7.30 pm we will end the day with a lectio brevis by Gaglianò.
