STUDIO VISIT
Margherita Morgantin
February 24, 2026, 7:00 PM
C/O SuperOtium
via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi, 8 – 80135 Naples
On the occasion of the residency Di-visione climatica, SuperOtium welcomes artist Margherita Morgantin for a public moment of encounter and shared reflection on her research, devoted to climate and light as physical, perceptual, and poetic phenomena.
Morgantin’s practice emerges from the intersection of scientific inquiry and imagination. Trained in Architecture and Technical Physics, and deeply engaged with contemplative practices as forms of knowledge, she has long explored what moves through space and bodies while often remaining invisible. Light, wind, and atmosphere become sensitive data to be observed, gathered, and translated into drawings, texts, installations, and performances.
During the studio visit on February 24, Morgantin will introduce her ongoing work in Naples through Light Data Collection, a process of collecting and translating light as a climatic and perceptual archive. Alongside the current research, a selection of previous works will be presented, opening a dialogue around observation and the recording of natural phenomena:
